Yesterday, 6/16 Huey and I had or heads shaved, me because mine was shedding because of chemotherapy and he because he loves me too much to have me walk that path alone. As wonderful as it felt to feel that love and solidarity God didn’t think that was enough so he inspired Darryl Hill, my barber and friend to make a stand by shaving his head too! You know i have been cranky and a little short for the past few days. I guess a combination the hair change and really limited rest. Yesterday was God’s reminder that He is Enough. Please pray for more and quality sleep for me without having to take the sleep-aid.

I am grateful that God sends me a human angel everyday, aside from my husband’s and barber’s act of sacrifice he sent me an associate in the store to affirm me. Within two hours of shaving my locs I walked into a store and the associate asked if I am a movie star? Really, honest to goodness asked she said I have a beautiful smile and spirit and she hopes she can see me again! She took my name and promised to pray for me, grateful!!
