Paula is now in the operating room for intra-pertoneal port placement for chemotherapy. The procedure is expected to last about 1 hour with 2 hours of recovery time. We spoke a length to the oncologist this morning and she expects that everything will go smoothly. But we know that God is in control so we are assured that all will be well. She will also use the scope to look around in her abdomen while she is doing this surgery to see there is any abnormalities. Also spoke with the anesthesiologist and she will need general anesthesia for the procedure. We continue to elicit your prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.
